John Wood, Room to Read Founder, Visits Nuix

On February 6, 2012, John Wood, the Founder and Co-Chairman of Room to Read, visited the Nuix Sydney office in order to speak to Nuix staff about Room to Read and the impact the Proof Finder project has had on building schools and providing educational resources for children in developing nations.

John explained how Room to Read operates entirely in cooperation with local communities, engaging local people and governments in the fight to promote literacy and education for children. The Nuix team also heard how Room to Read tries to use as little of the money raised as possible for administration, so that as much money as possible goes directly to the charity's building projects, scholarship funds and publishing work.

The entire Nuix team was grateful that John took the time to come and speak with us, and were inspired and moved by the stories of the tremendously important work Room to Read is doing around the world.
